Forrest A. Doss, age 96 of Clinton passed away August 1, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. He was a member & deacon of South Clinton Baptist Church. He retired from X-10 in Oak Ridge.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Lera Stone Doss; parents, William & Letha Doss; sister, Dortha Hargis.

Son: Ronnie Doss of Clinton

Daughter: Libby Doss Bradford of Clinton

Granddaughter: Kelly Bradford of Clinton

Great-grandson: Wesley Bradford of Clinton

Sister-in-law: Olene Blackburn of Jasper, TN

Several nieces & nephews.

The family wishes to express their thanks to Amedisys Hospice, Professional Case Management and East Tennessee Personal Care Service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Clinton Baptist Church food Pantry, 1000 Clinch Avenue, Clinton, Tn 37716.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral service at 8:00PM in the chapel with Dr. Roger Pugh officiating.

Interment will be Thursday, August 4th at 10:00AM at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
