Obituary


Floyd LaMarr Deal age 77 of Andersonville passed away on Thursday Sept 18, 2014. He was of the Church of Christ faith and a Navy veteran. LaMarr and his wife Barbara were the owners of Deal's Distributing and Deal's Small Engine of Clinton.
LaMarr had a great love for nature and the outdoors that he shared with his daughters and grandsons by exposing them to the beauty of the earth and emphasizing how through the many wonders of nature and the universe we could experience God and feel our Lord's presence.
He loved hunting, hiking, fishing, boating, wood working, NASCAR, bird watching, traveling, reading his bible, spending time with animals and quiet visits with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Lennie Deal; his in laws, Lawrence and Laura Elliott; beloved daughter, Krista Deal.
He is survived by:
Loving wife and soul mate: Barbara Elliott Deal
Spoiled daughters: Kerry Deal of West Virginia
Karla Deal of Kingsport
Angela Hamilton Cox of Clinton.
Cherished grandsons: Kris Koehler and wife Sarah of Kingsport
Kody Koehler and wife Stephanie of Elizabethton
Cade Cox of Clinton
Corbin Cox of Clinton
One precious great granddaughter: Sophia Koehler.
Sweet sister: Dolores Ryan
Nephews: Bob Ryan and wife Stephanie, Mike Ryan and wife Erika all of Georgia.
Family friend: Denise Pruitt.
He also loved his many faithful employees whom he also considered his friends at Deal's Small Engine and Deal's Distributing. LaMarr was blessed with a wealth of friends, too many to mention but all held a special place in his heart. The family will receive friends Monday, September 22nd from 5-7 PM at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. A memorial service will follow with Rev. David Seiber officiating. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
