Fern N. Cantrell,age 95, of Clinton passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 at her home. She was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for several years. She was a member of Timely Topics, Garden Club and former member of the XYZ's. She taught school in Clinton and Claxton and retired from the Selective Service Board where she was the Draft Board Clerk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Cantrell; parents, J. Frank & Mackie Nelson.

The family will received friends on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 6-8PM at the Clinton First Baptist Church with funeral following at 8:00PM with Rev. Sam Dean, Rev. Stan Elliott, & Rev. Terry Baker officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Clinton First Baptist Church.
