Faye Lucile Wright, of Clinton passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 92.  She was the wife of the late Lonnie Paul Wright for 41 years.

She was born on March 06, 1932 in Clinton to the late Berlin Sylvester Foust and Flora Ester Foust.

She lived her entire life in Clinton graduating from Clinton High School in 1950.

Lucile was a very outgoing and social person who loved to talk and never met a stranger. Her favorite activities involved being active in several Red Hat Clubs, serving on the committee for her class reunions, and volunteering in the floral booth at the Anderson County Fair. She also enjoyed growing beautiful flowers, traveling, attending UT pep rallies, and visiting Dollywood.  She lived life with an infectious joy that she shared with many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Paul Wright, parents Berlin and Esther Foust, Sister Nina Hembree and Brother Aude Foust.

She is survived by her children:

Rhonda Wright Gamble (Mike) of Clinton, Paula Wright Whittier (Ben) of Altavista, VA, and Wendell Wright (Jodi) of Maryville.

Grandchildren:  Matthew Taylor (Jenny), Ashley Smith (Ben), John Whittier (Kate), Martha Whittier Arace (Anthony), Zach Wright and Alayna Wright.

Great grandchildren:  Kaden Freeman, Amberley Freeman, Watson Taylor and Kylee Wright.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Holley Gamble Funeral Home followed by a Funeral at 4:00 in the Chapel.  Burial will be at 11:00 on Monday, January 27th at Grandview Memorial Garden.  Those wishing to travel in procession should meet at Holley Gamble at 10:30. www.holleygamble.com
