Fabian Lynn Ray, age 49, died on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Clinton, TN. He was born on January 1, 1970 in LaFollette, TN.  He is survived by his mother, Judy Kay Ray of Clinton, TN; his father, Jerry Ray of LaFollette, TN, one sister, Hannah Catrina Lambert of Knoxville, TN and one brother, Samuel Duran Chapman of Knoxville, TN.  Two nieces, Hannah Nicole Lambert of LaFollette, TN and Summer DeShea Lambert of Knoxville, TN.

He joined the military at the age of 18 and served four years in the United States Navy from 1989 thru 1993 and then returned home to Nashville, TN. Fabian completed his degree and became a registered nurse where he worked and traveled to various states for several years.

In 2006, he was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer and had to endure a very serious operation.  Fortunately, he survived but the cancer affected his ability to continue his nursing career of which he loved dearly.

Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Friday, April 26, at Faith Promise Church, 96 Mariner Point Dr., Clinton, TN. Visitation from 6-7 pm with the service at 7pm.
