Everett Jackson Rose, age 72, of Princeton, WV, formerly Clinton, TN, went to be with his Lord on Wed, September 26, 2012 where he will be reunited with the people he loved and missed his wife Judy, parents, and in-laws.
Born in Goodwill, WV, he was the oldest son of Fred Jackson & Helen Virginia Carver Rose. For 26 years he lived and worked in Clinton, TN where he developed many loving friendships. Kind, sweet, gentle man were the words often used to describe him.
Everett was a Christian and loved the Lord. He enjoyed playing his guitar and writing beautiful songs that he loved to sing for his family. He loved his grandchildren/great grandchildren more than anything in this world.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Judy, daughter Patricia K. Hicks, and sister Donna K. Rose
Left to cherish his memory is his son Larry Goodman of Oak Ridge, TN; grandchildren Brent Loy, Bethany Riggs, Christopher Hicks, & James Wells; Great-grandchildren Taylor, Skylah, Nathan, & Derik Riggs all of TN. Sisters Goldie Bell, Margaret Broyles, Dolly & David Hambrick all of Bluefield, WV; Betty & Noel Phillips of Las Vegas NV; Marilyn & Oscar Morgan & Anita & Ed Myers of Princeton, WV; Wanda & Donald Combs of Rock, WV; brothers Scotty & Betty Rose of Tazewell, Va., Fred & Donetta Rose and Johnny & Becky Rose of Bluefield. Joe Burton, brother-n-law, Jane Lee Stinson of Rocky Gap, VA sister-n-law and numerous extended family members and friends.
Pall bearers will be Mike Alley, James Wells, Sr, James Wells, Jr., Adam Hicks, Brent Loy. Honorary Pall bearers will be Lee Walker and Wayne Schmidt
The family will receive friends on Friday Sept 28, 2012 from 6-8pm at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, TN. Funeral services will be Saturday Sept 29 @ 11am in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Ivey officiating.
