Everett Jennings, age 75 of Caryville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Mercy Hospice in Halls after a courageous fight with cancer. Everett was born on December 3, 1935 in Clinton, Tennessee to the late George and Cora Jennings. He was saved at an early age and a member of the Cherry Bottom Baptist Church. Everett served as an auxiliary deputy sheriff for the Campbell County Sheriff's Department for Robbie Goins. Everett will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City from 6-8PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. Clifford Fraker and Rev. Alvis Richardson officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:30AM on Thursday, June 16, 2011 and proceed in procession to the Ridgeview Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00AM graveside service.
