Evelyn Yarnell Doughty, age 87 of Clinton, went to be with Jesus April 25, 2011 at St. Mary's Mercy Hospice in Halls. She was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church. She worked for Oak Ridge Associated Universities for 17 years, retiring in 1989, but returned part-time until 2000.

Preceded in death by her parents, Willie W. and Lucinda Franse Yarnell; brothers, Richard, J.D., K.P., and Samuel Yarnell; sisters, Minnie Seale, Joanna Chamberlain, Lucinda Yarnell, Norean Tripp, Oalean Howard, and Rachel Yarnell; great grandchild, Isaac Trace Jones; special niece, Dorothy Seale Vogt

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2011, from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Dr. Mark Walton and Dr. Larry Pugh officiating.
