Emma Grace Herron Young, age 90 of Clinton, TN departed this life to be with her Savior Sunday evening at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
Emma was born January 3, 1922 to Charlie & Ida Kirkland Herron in Blount County. TN. She graduated Lanier High School in 1940. She left Blount County and located to Oak Ridge when it was a closed city where she worked for a time as secretary at Linden School.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia; husband, Troy; parents, four brothers and a sister.
Survived by son, Ronald & wife Cheryl; granddaughter, Leah & husband Matt; several nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law,
There will not be a receiving of friends, but a guest book will be available at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Family & friends will meet at Centenary Cemetery in Maryville at 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 for graveside services with Rev. Stan Elliott officiating.
