Emma K. Seymour, age 99, of Clinton, TN departed this life March 21, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center. She was born May 9, 1913 to the late Effie Patterson Kennedy and Sterling Kennedy. She was a charter member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton and had been a faithful member of Clinton First Baptist Church since 1977. She worked at Magnet Mills and later at Eastern State and retired in 1975. Emma enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending winters at New Smyrna Beach. She was very dedicated to visiting relatives and friends at Windwood Healthcare Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by, husband of 37 years, Leonard Turner; precious daughter, Gail Turner Bush; second husband of 21 years, Warren C. Seymour; brothers, Bill and Elmer Kennedy; sister, Mary Alice Rhyne.

She was proud of her grandsons and six great grandchildren and was always eager to express her love for them.
Also survived by several nieces and nephews
The family extends a special thank you for caregivers who administered to her while at home and to the staff at Golden Living Center for the loving care they provided.
The family will receive friends 11:00-12:00 noon, Saturday, March 23, 2012 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Stan Elliott officiating. Her burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Clinton First Baptist Church Family Life Center, P.O.
