In Loving Memory of Emerson Blake Hicks 

June 4, 2026 – June 10, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our precious daughter, Emerson Blake Hicks, who came into our lives on June 4, 2026, and passed away on June 10, 2026.

Though Emerson's time on earth was brief, her strength and determination will always be remembered. Emmie brought us immeasurable love, joy, and hope to all who knew her. In her few days with us, she touched countless hearts and created a bond that will last forever. She was an absolute miracle.

Emerson leaves behind her loving parents, Drew and Kylie Hicks; her great-grandparents, Mary Ella and Leon Ridenour, and Andy Saunders; her grandparents, Rick and Libby Hicks, Stacy Simpson, Kenneth and Mary Duhamell, Forrest and Colleen Clemens, and Doug and Roni Jawson; her aunts and uncles, Jack Jawson, Abby and Dylan Wyatt, John Hicks, Ella Long, Logan, Wyatt and Nevaeh Radek, Brent Clemens and Madison Hughbanks; and her cousins, Leighton and Landry Wyatt, and Dallas Gomez. 

Preceded in death by her cousin, Liam Wyatt.

Receiving of Friends will be from 5:00-6:00 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Mike Thompson officiating. 

Special thank you to the Amazing nurses at Childrens Hospital, especially, Niki and Teresa, your compassion and expertise never faltered.

Although our arms are empty, our hearts remain full of the love Emerson gave us. Her life, was a gift, and her memory will be cherished forever. We take comfort in knowing that she is with Jesus. She will always be a part of us and her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who love her.
