Elsie C. West, age 81 of Powell, passed away April 27, 2015. She was a member of Farmers Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard and gardening. Elsie was also a wonderful cook and everyone always enjoyed her dishes she brought for church outings. She was a loving and generous lady that was always willing to help others. She loved her family and her friends. She will be deeply missed.
Preceded in death by her parents, Henry Carl and Etta Cox; husband, Rev. Beryl West; sister, Minnie Melissa Cox; brothers, Floyd, Carl, Paul and Douglas Cox.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 30th from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Bobby Metcalf and Rev. Joe Copeland officiating.
