Elmer Brown, age 78, of Maryville, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at his residence. Elmer was born on June 27, 1936 in Oliver Springs, TN to the late Bill and Bessie Ward Brown. He was of the Baptist faith. Elmer retired from the UT Bakery and enjoyed wood working and flea markets. Elmer was also a University of Tennessee fan. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents Elmer is preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years Annette Brown; brothers, Ernest, Leon, Merlyn, Franklin, Virgil and Claiborn Brown; sisters, Glenna Carroll and Mary Lou Brown.

The family will receive friends at the Holley- Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top, TN on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 12-2PM with the funeral service to follow at 2:00PM with the Rev.
