Ellis B. Lafferty, age 70 of Clinton, passed away August 19, 2014, at his home. He was a member of New Beverly Baptist Church. Ellis collected coins and was an antique dealer. He enjoyed sports and was a volunteer coach anytime he was needed. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. His real passion was his family especially his children and his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Sally Lafferty; sister, Peggy McCormick.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 21st from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Allen Shepard and Rev. David Hicks officiating.
