Ellen Carroll, age 89 of Clinton, passed away May 29, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born July 17, 1923 in Red Oak Mtn., TN and was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Carroll; parents, Benjamin and Sally Phillips; son, John Carroll; sisters, Annie Phillips, Aslee Ward and Mary Lowe; brothers, Marshall, Isaac, Fred, Owen, Columbus, Harold and Don Phillips; brother in-law, Kyle McDowell, Sr; great granddaughter, Gina Thacker.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 1st from 5-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 2nd at 11:00AM at Red Oak Baptist Church in Campbell County with Rev. Kyle McDowell, Jr. officiating . Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
