Elizabeth McConkey Braden, age 83 of Clinton, passed away May 29, 2015, at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Elizabeth worked for 27 years at Methodist Medical Center as a cashier and enjoyed her job so much she was 77 years old before she retired. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed cooking and bird watching. She was a collector of bird figurines.
Preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Ruth McConkey; son, John Michael Braden; brother, James McConkey.
