Edward "Eddie" Lee Ball, age 69, of Clinton, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 12, 2024, surrounded by his family.  Eddie was born December 15, 1954, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Hubert and Ila Ball. He was a faithful member of Wolf Valley Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday School teacher and song leader.  Throughout his life, he loved singing, telling stories, having good times while eating with his family and friends, and spending time with his grandchildren.  But above all, he was a Christian that loved the Lord.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by an older brother, J. R. Greenlee.

He is survived by brother, Joe Greenlee & wife Brenda of Andersonville; son, Logan Rutherford; grandsons, Lorenzo Malakai Rutherford and Kaison Alexander Rutherford; nephew, Joey Greenlee & wife Kim; special granddaughter, Hannah Fielden & husband Hunter; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Ezra Fielden; special grandson, Steven Geren & wife Sabra and their daughter, Misty; special cousin, Judy Humphreys; special friends, Toby and Amy Geren; many other special children, friends, and family.

The family will receive friends 11:00-1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Wolf Valley Baptist Church.  His funeral service will follow with Pastor Calvin Headrick and Pastor Toby Geren officiating.  Eddie's graveside will immediately follow at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  holleygamble.com
