Reverend Edward Martin Asbury, age 83, of Clinton, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016, at his residence. He enjoyed fishing back in the day, listening to gospel music and reading his Bible. He enjoyed talking to and meeting new people. Preceded in death by father, Edward Asbury, mother and step-father, Artie and Alfonso Young, brother-in-laws Terry Love, Homer March, and Robert L. Dye. Ed retired from BWXT-Y12 as a Machine Cleaner. Edward was an associate pastor at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Clinton, TN.

He is survived by sisters, Joyce Dye and Lillie March of Clinton, TN; Nieces, Sonia Dye (Melvin Williams) and Cassandra Love of Clinton, TN; Nephews, Robert "Bobby" Dye (Genia Blankenship) and William "Billy" Love (Heather) of Clinton, TN; great-nieces, Brittany Scalf (Ricky), Brandi Dye, Miranda Love, all of Clinton, TN; great-nephews, Branden Dye, Patrick Love, and Braylen and Brendan Hayden of Clinton, TN; great-great-nephews, Elliot Barnett and Tryston Dye of Clinton, TN; and a godson, Joseph Hewitt (Lil' Joe) Willis, of Knoxville, TN; special friends, Pastor William Caldwell, Jr., and Rev. Ernest Scruggs of Mount Sinai Baptist Church and Robert Willis, Sr., all of Clinton, TN.

The family will receive friends at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church on Friday, November 11,2016 from 1-3PM with the funeral service to follow at 3:00PM with Brother Bill Caldwell officiating.
