Edna Beth White went home to be with her Lord at 12:40 am, on November 25, 2016. Edna was 84 years young and was born on July 13, 1932. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an active member of Dutch Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She was also an active member of Clinch Valley Chapter 369, order of the Eastern Star at Andersonville. Edna was a Grand Representative to the State of Vermont. Throughout her life she enjoyed cooking, traveling, quilting, gardening but most of all spending time with her children. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Junior Lee White; son, Rev. Samuel White; father, John Nathan Tindell; mother, Bertha M. (Sharp) Tindell; sisters, Ruby (Tindell) Tomasso and Willie R. (Tindell) Rains.

The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 pm, Monday, November 28, 2016 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Edna will have an Order of the Eastern Star service at 8:00 pm, followed by her funeral service with Rev. Joe Copeland and Rev. David C. Burtchfield officiating.
