Edna Chadwell Sharp, age 95, of Clinton formally of Lake City passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Morning Pointe assisted living in Clinton. She was born February 14, 1916 to the late Andrew and Bessie Coker Chadwell in Westburn, TN. Edna was an active member of Clear Branch Baptist Church until entering Morning Pointe. She was also a 50 years member of the Coal Creek Chapter # 226 Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by husband, Clyde Sharp, four brothers, one half brother and one half sister.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Friday, December 09, 2011 from 5 to 7PM with the funeral service to follow at 7:00Pm with the Rev. Randy Norton officiating. Family and friend will meet at the funeral home on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 10:30AM and go in funeral procession to the Leach Cemetery for an 11:00AM interment.
