Eddie Stooksbury, age 73 of Timpson, TX formerly of Anderson County, Tennessee passed away at his residence on August 10, 2021.  Eddie was born February 24, 1948 in Anderson County to the late Glenn and Roxie Stooksbury.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Throughout his life Eddie enjoyed working on equipment and there wasn't too many things Eddie couldn't fix.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by sister, Sue Giles; brother, Johnnie Stooksbury.

Eddie is survived by his daughter, Shelly Hensley of Clinton; grandchildren, Amelya Hensley and Shelden Hensley; great grandson, Ace Hensley; loving companion, Loretta Stewart of Timpson, TX; sister, Jane Stooksbury & husband Rick of Knoxville; special friends, Tony Phillips of Rocky Top and Chris & April Gaddy of Timpson, TX; several nieces and nephews

The family will have a graveside service 12:30 pm, Monday, August 16, 2021 at East Tennessee Veteran Cemetery with full military honors at graveside.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  holleygamble.com
