Seivers, Dortha "Jane" - age 75 of Clinton, TN went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, March 14, 2011. She was born March 16, 1935 in Clinton. She is reunited with her beloved husband of 51 years Hoyt O. Seivers who preceded her in death, along with her parents Wayne Abraham Rhea and Lorene Guy Rhea Osborne, her twin brother who died at birth Donald Wayne Rhea, her sisters Mary Edna Moore and Norma Jean Crippen. She was the most kind and loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was affectionately known as "Mamaw Bunny". She was a member of South Clinton Baptist Church for the last several years. She grew up and was a member for most of her life at Second Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, VBS and worked with the Youth. She loved working Word Search Puzzles and playing UNO. One of her greatest pastimes was watching her boys play baseball/softball. She worked at Magnet Mills and retired from EG&G ORTEC. She is survived by: two daughters, Teresa Jane Seivers Parks & husband, Gary, Clinton, and their children: Keith Parks & wife, Shanda, their children, Sierra, Bryson, & Brooklyn, Oak Ridge, and Martha Jane (MJ) Parks Meredith & husband, Arnie II, their children: Arnie III, Bethany, Clay, & Tori Jane, LaFollette, and Cheryl Ann Seivers Mayes & husband, Jim, (with whom she made her home for her final four years), their children: Tamra Mayes Monday & husband, Gary, their children Jayme & Carly, Justin Mayes & Tyler Mayes & wife, Rachel, their daughter, Kennedy, to be born in May, all of Clinton. Three sons, James Wayne Seivers & wife Libbye of Athens, their daughter, Megan Seivers Cook, her children Peyton, Paige, Grace, Hope & baby due in September, Oak Ridge; Michael Don Seivers & wife Freida, Clinton, their children: Derek Floyd & wife Rachel, their children, Wyatt & Wayland, Hartselle, AL & Lorin Whaley & son Benjamin, Sevierville and Alan Hoyt Seivers & wife Leigh Ann, their children: Savannah, Sophie and Rhett, Clinton. Brother-in-law: Fred Moore, Cincinnati, OH, Brothers and sisters-in-law: James M. "Jiggs" Seivers & wife Frankie, Clinton and Charles G. "Bones" Seivers & wife Bettye, Nashville and several special nieces and nephews. Special friends: Elaine Henderson & J.D. & Dot Queener, Clinton. Pallbearers: Keith Parks, Arnie Meredith II, Arnie Meredith III, Gary Monday, Justin Mayes & Tyler Mayes. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16 from 6-8 p.m. at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton with funeral at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. George Williams officiating. Interment will be Thursday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Grandview Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Terry Baker officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation/Walk to Cure Diabetes, 355 Trane Lane, Knoxville, TN 37919. The walk will be held April 30, 2011 at the World's Fair Park, Knoxville. Donations will be in honor of Sierra Parks, great-granddaughter.
