Dortha Myetta Jones, age 66, of Clinton went home to be with her heavenly father on September 6, 2015. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Throughout her life Dortha loved cross-stitching, quilting, flowering, gardening, being outdoors, and most of all spending time with her loving family. Dortha was a loving mother who was full of life and had a loving personality that many will forever cherish. Her boys, Jerry and William felt that she was the greatest mother. Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Jones; parents, Thomas Sexton and Bonnie Louise Speed; brothers, William and Steve Speed; sister, Gerrie Cantrell; brother-in-law, Hubert Cantrell.

The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 pm, Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services to follow in the chapel.
