Dorothy Fielden Fritts Brown, age 83 of Clinton, passed away October 2, 2011 at Norris Health and Rehabilitation Center in Andersonville. She was a member of Egdemoor Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school nursery worker for over 20 years with her best friend, Jean Wentworth. Dorothy loved to travel, was an avid Lady Vols fan and most of all loved her family.
Preceded in death by her parents, Purn and Alvilda Fielden; brother, Marvin Fielden; grandsons, David Wentworth and Timothy Brown.

Deana Schaffer, Rachell Mayes, David and Ashley Brown.
Great Grandchildren: Sheridan and Jocelyn Brown, Riley and Kate Landson, Kennedy Mayes,
Mia Maine and one due in January.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 5th from 5:30-8Pm at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 6th at 2PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles Fritts and Rev. John Burleson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton with Rev. Tom Byrge. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Gideons International at www.gideons.org.
