Dora Terry Massengill, age 98, of Lake City, TN passed away on April 5, 2015. She was the daughter of Milton and Leatha Terry. She was a lifetime member of Little Cove Creek Baptist Church. Dora was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Claude Massengill; son, Edward Massengill and wife, Rosa Massengill and infant daughter, Lois Jean.
She is survived by sons, Glen and Polly, of Piney Flatts, TN; Carl and Edie, of Columbus, OH; Ronnie and Harriett of Morristown, TN; Jimmy and Carolyn of Lafollette, TN; and Junior and Nancy of Caryville, TN. Daughter-in-law, June of Oak Ridge, TN. Nine Grandchildren, and sixteen Great Grandchildren, and sister, Frankie and Hugh Boshears of Jacksboro, TN.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with funeral at 8pm with the Rev. Larry Russell and Rev. C.H. Baird officiating. Her burial will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11am at the Campbell Memorial Gardens in Lafollette.
