Mrs. Donna Jeanne Willaford passed away August 27, 2017 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Mrs. Willaford was born Donna Jeanne Evans on September 12, 1933, in Ravenna, Ohio. She served in the U.S. Air Force, was a homemaker, and an excellent gardener. She loved animals, especially dogs, and will be missed by her beloved Corgi, Dusty.
Mrs. Willaford also enjoyed needlework of all kinds and sewed many outfits for her two daughters, including formal dresses. She had several afghans that won blue ribbons in local festival competitions when she lived in Illinois. In recent years, she was an avid genealogist and researched her own family lines and also assisted others with their research. Her family and friends were often amused by for her sharp wit and wicked sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Felix Dane Willaford. She is survived by their two daughters, Diana (Joe) Dunwoody of Syracuse, Utah and Dana Willaford of Clinton, Tennessee, grandsons David Dunwoody of Layton, Utah and Sean (Stephanie) Dunwoody, and a great granddaughter, of Lexington, South Carolina.

Arrangements are being handled by Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, Tennessee. The family will have a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 5545 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio, 43214, or a local animal shelter.
