Donna Lee Sanders
December 30, 1959 – July 7, 2025

Donna Lee Sanders, a longtime resident of Oak Ridge, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on July 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 30, 1959, in Clinton, Tennessee, to Juanita and JR Harris, Donna brought warmth, laughter, and compassion into the lives of everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and JR Harris; her beloved daughter, Jessica Sanders; and her siblings: Charles Washington, Bobby Washington, Babe Ruth Pruitt, William Pruitt, John Harris, and Eugene Harris.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Rae, and her devoted niece, Linda Smith (Mike Smith), who cared for her with unwavering love and strength; grandchildren Alexis, Jonathan, Jada, Latalyah, Niaujah, Cambrea, Lacie, and Desiriah; great-grandchildren Zyra, Alijah, and Lael. She is also survived by her devoted sisters, Mary Pruitt and Beulah Harris, and a community of loved ones who will forever remember her generosity, strength, and joy.

Donna was known for her remarkable sense of humor and her deep kindness. She had a heart that welcomed many and a spirit that uplifted those around her. Above all, she loved the Lord and cherished her family—her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world.

In lieu of a funeral, a memorial service will be held to celebrate Donna's life. Details will be shared at a later date.
