It is with great sadness that the family of Donald K. Jordan, Jr. announces his passing on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the age of 88 years. Donald was born in Youngstown, Ohio on November 12, 1929.

He served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan and discharged in 1953. Upon returning home, Donald rejoined the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. as a Roll Turner. Donald met his wife Bobbie on a blind date and they were married in 1954. He was called to the ministry and gave his life to the Lord in 1965. Thereafter, he entered Baptist Bible College in 1967 to prepare for the ministry and graduated in 1970. Donald and Bobbie moved to Elmira, New York and he became the Pastor of the Elmira Baptist Church. He then became Pastor at Somerset Baptist Church followed by pastoring a church in Erie, Pennsylvania. Finally, he accepted the position of Pastor for the Midway Baptist Church in Clinton Tennessee, before retiring from the ministry. He and Bobbie continued to serve the Lord in many ways through thoughts and deeds for family and friends. Donald was blessed with a beautiful singing voice that he used to serve the Lord in his ministry. He found passion in reading and studying the scripture to better serve his congregation.

He is survived by his son, Alan (AJ) Jordan of Boynton Beach, Florida, as well as his granddaughters Carly Jordan of Alexandria, Virginia and Chelsea Jordan of Boynton Beach, Florida; and nephew DeWayne Phillips and his wife Linda of Lake City, Tennessee.
