Donald R. Cooper, age 63 of Powell, passed away at home December 4, 2011. He was of the Baptist faith. He was co-owner and operator of Coops Auto Repair for many years. Donald was an avid NASCAR fan and loved car racing himself. He raced many times at Atomic Speedway, Tazewell Speedway and Bulls Gap Speedway. He was a loving husband, father and brother. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, John E. and Elsie M. Breeden Cooper.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 7th from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Father Stephen Freeman officiating. Graveside service will be Thursday, December 8th at 12:00Pm at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton. Pallbearers will be Leon Anderson, Joshua Moore, Austin Moore, Carl Elliott and Calvin Cooper. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
