Don Edward Worthington, age 74, of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Parkwest Medical Center. Don was born on September 1, 1938 in Lake City, TN to the late Charles and Carrie Sexton Worthington. Don was a member of the Clear Branch Baptist Church and was a born again Christian. Don enjoyed racing, yard work, traveling, working on cars, and riding with Brandon. He was an avid University of Tennessee Fan, NASCAR fan and was a diehard ford auto fan. Don was a loving husband and Diddy and will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by, Uncles, Clyde Burnette, James Sexton, Walter Blankenskip and Russ Sexton; Aunts, Clara Sexton Burnette, Dora Sexton and Mildred Sexton; Grandpets, Princess and Magic.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 6-8 PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. Jason Williams officiating. Interment will be held at the Ridgeview Cemetery on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 3:30PM with full military honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
