Don Rutledge Edens II, age 44, born October 12, 1969, passed away September 3, 2014. He graduated from Christian Academy of Knoxville in 1988 and then graduated from The Citadel in 1992. Don served in the Marine Corp for 13 years as a pilot and worked for Empire Corporation. His desire in life was to be remembered as a follower of Christ, devoted husband and father.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tarvin and Mr. and Mrs. Don R. Edens.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 7th from 2-4 PM at First Baptist Church Powell. Funeral service will begin at 4 o'clock with Pastor Phil Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton with full military honors at graveside.
