Dewey Fred Pyles of Heiskell, TN, passed peacefully on November 12, 2025, at Fort Sanders Medical Center. He was born on December 18, 1944, to the late Jessie and Della Pyles.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Pyles; son, Steven Pyles; daughter, Cathy Pyles; sister, Geneva Pyles; brother, Alan Pyles; Nephew, Buddy Pyles; and a host of other family members.

He is survived by daughter-in-law, Cindi; granddaughters, Sarah, Kayla, and Jessica; grandson, Keith; great-granddaughters, Zoey, Lilly, and Dora; great-grandsons, Mason and Dallas; nieces, Darlene and Rhonda; and best friend, Donnie.

He lived a very bright and joyful life where his dogs, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of his life. He lived by the bible and loved teaching everyone how to be as independent as possible. He was known to recite the 23rd Psalm when times got tough.

He has chosen to be cremated with a small service afterwards. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 pm on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Holly Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Memorial Service will begin at 5:00 pm with Rev. Allen Giles officiating.
