Desta L. Holder, age 84, of Heiskell, passed away April 5, 2016 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. Desta enjoyed working in her yard and working puzzles. In earlier years she enjoyed searching and working in genealogy.
Preceded in death by her parents, Laura and Ruth Stringfield; husband, Dennis (Midnight) Holder, Sr.; son, Dennis (Tigger) Holder, Jr.; brother, Carlos Stringfield.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 8th from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Jerry Walton officiating. Everyone will meet at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Saturday, April 9th at 10:30 AM to go in procession to Stringfield Cemetery for graveside service at 11:00 AM.
