David Owens age 66 of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at his home.

David received his master's in nursing from Carson-Newman University and worked in several Knoxville practices.  His love was working with children at East Tennessee Children's Hospital.

David is survived by his wife of 40 years, Norma; son, Dr. David R. Owens & wife Lindsey; son, Dane Z. Owens & wife Ripley; daughter, Jessica R. Happney & husband Wayne; son, Christopher Cody Owens & wife Kristen. He is also survived by step son, Andrew Sain; step daughter, Abigail Sain.  He leaves 11 precious grandchildren that were the light of his life. Obed, Noah, Ethan, Laurel, and Keiran Sain, Nikolaus and Patrick Baxter, Zachary, Anna, and Mason Happney, and Lillie Owens.

The family has chosen cremation at there will be no service at this time; however, a Celebration of David's life will be held at a later date.
