David Morrison, age 92 of Clinton, passed away August 27, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a member of Valley View Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Nola Nadine (McFarland) Morrison; parents, John and Oma (Jackson) Morrison; daughter, Carella Dean (Morrison) Childs; son, David Earl Morrison; granddaughter, Christy Nadine Morrison; grandson, Seath William Morrison; son-in-law, Jimmy Shaffer; daughter-in-law, Tina Morrison; brothers, Harrison Morrison, John Morrison, Howard Morrison, Sam Morrison; sisters Sadie Futterll, Nettie Ellison, Ollie May, Cora Garner, Eunice Bailey.

He is survived by his sister Lettie Fox of Knoxville; two daughters, Mary Shaffer of Clinton, Linda Anthony and husband John of Clinton.; six sons, Jack Morrison and wife Jeanetta of Clinton, Jerry Morrison of Clinton, Steve Morrison and wife Pam of Princeton, IN, Carl Morrison and wife Susan of Clinton, Gary Morrison of Harriman, Danny Morrison of Lake City; son-in-law, Clyde Childs of Coalfield; daughter-in-law, Barbara Morrison of Rockwood; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm Monday, August 30, 2010, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Allen Giles and Rev. Jason Goans officiating. Graveside service will be Tuesday, August 31, at 10:00am at the Valley View Baptist Church Cemetery.
