David Thomas Morris III, age 50 a very much loved husband, father, and grandfather went home to be with his heavenly father after a boating accident at Fort Loudon Dam on Sunday, May 24, 2020.  David was born February 7, 1970 in El Paso, TX.  Throughout his life David loved fishing, gardening, going to flea markets, and was a very talented carpenter, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by:

Loving of wife, Mary Morris of Clinton; son, Michael Hopkins of Clewiston, FL; daughters, Ashley Morris of CA and Emily Morris of CA; grandchildren, Jacob Michael Hopkins; mother, Karrie Butcher of Aloca; father, David Thomas Morris II;  sister, Tammy Smeltzer of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews

The family will have a Celebration of Life service, 1:00 pm, Friday, May 29, 2020 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Holley Gamble Funeral Home, P.O.
