David Holt, age 63, of Clinton, passed away on January 19, 2026, at Methodist Medical Center.

Born on July 11, 1962, in Knox County, Tennessee, David was the son of the late Roy Clifton and Ina Lorene Holt. He grew up in Anderson County, where he dedicated many years to caring for his parents.

David attended Clinton First Baptist Church. David's greatest passion in life was music. He especially loved playing the guitar and writing songs, finding joy and fulfillment through his musical talents.

He is survived by his cousins, Minnie Abdul Rahman of Clinton, Linda Woodford & husband Ken of Powell, Bryan Jackson & wife Beth of Athens, and Jamie Hartman & husband Larry of Ooltewah; he is also survived by several cousins and friends.

The family will have a graveside service for David at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 23, 2026, at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  Holleygamble.com
