David Lynn Hayes, age 67 of Dearborn Heights, Michigan went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2011 at his home. David was born in Briceville, Tennessee on March 2, 1944 the late Kenneth and Charlotte Faye Hayes. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Vietnam. David worked for Chrysler for 40 years where he retired in 2009. He loved his family and friends and loved to sit and talk about the good old days. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brother, Jim Hayes; sisters, Peggy Weatherford, Carolyn Parsons and Brenda Huckaby.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Tuesday, September 27,2011 from 6 -8 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 11:00AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Archie Seiber officiating.
