David L. Brown, age 68 of Oak Ridge passed away December 21, 2010. He was a member of Edgemoor Baptist Church. He retired from broadcasting and was a member of Oak Ridge Amateur Radio Club and his call sign was WA4HGP.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon & Mae Brown and sisters, Lois Brown & Joyce LaVenge.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 6-8PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral service following at 8:00PM in the chapel with Pastor Rick Miller officiating. Family & friends will meet on Friday, December 24th at 11:00AM at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for graveside services. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements
