Dale Edward Goodman, age 61 of Lake City, went to rest on January 10, 2012. Dale was born on November 17, 1950 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late Elbert and Sara Bray Goodman. He was an ordained deacon and current member of the Laural Branch Baptist Church in Briceville. Dale loved going to church and listening to gospel music and preaching. He also enjoyed gardening and working in his flower beds.
In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by Sisters, Ruby Mae, Margaret, and Unavee Goodman, Georgia Byrge; Brother, Hoye Goodman.

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 6-8PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. Archie Seiber and Rev. Eric Gibby officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 10:30AM and go in funeral procession to the Foust Cemetery in Lake City for a 11:00AM interment.
