Curtis Henry Russell, born March 7, 1941, age 71, a veteran of the United States Army, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. He was a loving dad and grandpa, a best friend and a faithful husband. His love for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors serves as a fond memory to all that knew him. Gone but never forgotten. He is now taking his rest in God's glorious city.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lora Russell of Marlow, TN.
His survivors include his wife, Mossie Russell of Clinton, TN; daughters, Trichina Smith of Mary-Alice, KY , Lora and husband Kevin Gaylor of Jacksboro, TN; sons, William Russell of Kingsport, TN, Chris and wife Jessica Russell of Coeburn, VA; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brother, James Russell of Ohio; sister, Bobbie Jean and husband Jim Green of Columbus, GA.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4th from 12-2PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will be at 2PM. Interment, with military service, will be at Poplar Creek Cemetery in Marlow, TN following the service. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
