Cordie Elizabeth Brown, age 87, went home to celebrate with her husband on his 100th birthday Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Tennova Hospice. She was very active in church throughout her life and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. Cordie had many occupations throughout her life but loved helping others which led to her becoming a holistic healer. She also loved flowers. Cordie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Brown; parents, Clingan and Hattie Lewis; brothers, Landon, Hughlee, Hobart, and Fred Lewis; sisters, Nettie Lewis and one infant sister; daughter-in-law, Valerie Brown.

The family will receive friends 6-7:30PM Thursday, June 16th at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Steve McDonald officiating.
