Clyde Leon Wright,age 81, of Clinton passed away Friday, October 8, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born May 29, 1929 in Anderson County to Ostus and Lois Wright.
Mr. Wright was a long time member of Black Oak Baptist Church.

Clyde enjoyed antique cars and was a member of the Desoto Antique Car Club, Clinton Antique Car Club, East Tennessee Antique Car Club, Walden Ridge Antique Car Club, and the Antique Car Club of America.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Wright; son, Michael Wright; parents, Ostus and Lois S. Wright

Survived by several cousins, three sisters in-law, one brother in-law and special friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 11, 2010 from 6-8:00pm at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will be at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mack Smith, Rev. Larry Pugh, and Rev. Earl Wilson officiating.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 11:00AM at Black Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Black Oak Baptist Church Bldg. Fund. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
