Cleta Jones, age 79, of Dandridge formerly of Clinton passed away on September 29, 2016 at Signature Assisted Living in Jefferson City. She was a member of Clinton Second Baptist Church and was a beloved Christian, mother and grandmother. She was born May 2, 1937 in Anderson County to the late Roy and Mary Phillips. In addition to her parents Cleta is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Jones; brothers, Billy and Danny Phillips; son-in-law, Chip Stansberry.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Clinton Second Baptist Church. Her funeral service will follow her visitation with Dr. Michael Thompson officiating. Her graveside will be 3:00 pm, Sunday at the Grandview Memorial Garden.
