Cleo Duncan age 93 of Clinton went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday morning December 10, 2016. She received Christ at the age of 13 and was a lifelong member of Deep Springs Baptist Church. She loved to sing and started singing at an early age. Along with her mother and sisters they started the group, The Duncan Trio. She sang with the Sweats Quartet and attended singings and homecomings at many churches. Throughout her life she loved to travel with Wilson Tours and had traveled to 48 states. Cleo was a true and faithful servant of God. She drove her mother and father along with Mr. and Mrs. Reed to churches because neither of them drove. She loved her nieces and nephews and they were like grandchildren to her. Everyone that knew Cleo loved her. Preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Ivon (Foster) Duncan; sisters, Lucille Jennings, Maralyn Duncan, Helen, Grace and Nellie; brothers, William, Clyde, Foster, and Lester; sister-in-law, Leona (Smith) Duncan; brother-in-law, Roy Jennings; nephews, Wayne and Michael Jennings.

Special friends she ran around with, Louise Hewitt and Jo Bowlin, and many other friends whom she loved very much. She loved her church but above all she loved God.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Her funeral service will follow in the chapel at 8pm with Doug Fielden and Darren Harness officiating. Her burial will be 11:00 am, Thursday at Sartin Cemetery.
