Cynthia (Cindi) Leigh McCormick passed away on July 30, 2024, after a long battle with early-onset dementia. Cindi was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, on March 10, 1960. She loved spending time on the beach and Norris Lake with friends and family. She was an avid cook, baker, and reader. Cindi was a longtime employee of Cherokee Distributing and volunteered at Children's Hospital.

She was preceded in death by Father Carl Trower, Mother and Stepfather Shelba and Marshall Curry. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Chris McCormick, son Josh (Chasity), daughter Grayson, granddaughters Brently and Kennedy, brothers Mike Trower, Jeff Trower, sister Robin (Andy) Frattin along with many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Courtyards Senior Living in Oak Ridge, Covenant Health Hospice and many special friends who helped on this journey.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

The family will have a celebration of life service on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.
