Chester Carson Hutchinson, 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

Born in Knox County, TN, he was a son of the late Wayne Carson and Stella Maude Melton Hutchinson. A U.S. veteran, he served for twenty-one years in the Air Force, and was formerly employed with BICO, Inc.

Survivors include his children, Cheryl Ann Masters of Houston, TX, Teresa Diane Foster of Montgomery, AL, Richard C. Hutchinson of Piedmont, Dianna Lynn Simmons of Commerce, GA, and Daniel Joseph Hutchinson of Gray Court; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was also predeceased by two grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gray Mortuary, in Pelzer.

The service will be held Monday, September 16, at 3:00 p.m. at Holley Gamble Funeral Home, in Clinton, TN, followed by burial in Norris Memorial Gardens.
