Cheri Morgan of Clinton, TN, passed away at the age of 80 on Friday, 21, 2025. She was born in Birmingham, AL to the late Helen and Fred Moran Diaz. Cheri was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She worked at Consolidated Pipe Supply for over 11 years, which at that time she retired. She always enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking out, playing cards/board games, and having some good laughs. Cheri also adored her sweet little cat, Gabby. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, working crossword puzzles, and a good ole trip to Walmart.

She is preceded in death by her father, Fred Moran Diaz and mother, Helen Mae Betts; former husband, George R. McClure; stepfather, Marvin E. Burkette; half-brother, David Burkette and aunt, Mary Ruth Gartman.

Cheri is survived by son and fiancé, Thomas (Butch) R. McClure and Jacqueline (Jackie) Walker; daughter, Helen (Marie) McClure; brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Buddy) and Teresa Burkette; grandson and wife, Krieg and Kara McClure; granddaughter and husband, Ciara and Zachary Crosson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
