Leach, Chelsie Kinser - age 77 of Clinton, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2013 at Tennova Hospital North. She was born in Athens, TN on June 6, 1936 to Victor and Jessie Kinser. She was a 1954 graduate of Oak Ridge High School and an active member of New York Avenue Church of Christ until her health declined. As a homemaker and mother she enjoyed caring and spending time with her children and grandchildren. An interest in maintaining good health kept her busy by walking and participating in a weekly bowling league. Other interests included watching Tennessee football, basketball and NASCAR racing. Chelsie was preceded in death by husband,Earl William Leach; sister, Betty Kinser; grandson, Phillip McCoy; and twin sons Michael and Melvin Ramey who were lost at birth. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Mark) McCoy; son, Mark Leach; grandchildren Randall and Larry McCoy, Zoe and Izzi Leach; and brother, Kenneth Kinser. On behalf of Chelsie we would like to thank the brothers, sisters and families of Earl Leach for a lifetime of love and affection. A special thanks is extended to Lafollette Assisted Living and their staff for their excellent care provided to Chelsie during the last 4 years. Additional thanks to Dr. Rhonda Sivley and the exceptional nursing staff at Tennova North. The family will receive friends Friday, August 9th from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Pastor Marty Stooksbury officiating. Friends and family will meet at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton Saturday, August 10th at 11:00AM for graveside service.
