Charlotte Yerkes (Cain) Williams Duncan, age 92 of Clinton, passed away May 28, 2012 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living. She was born in Anderson County February 21, 1920, to Henry M. and Lillian Bean Yerkes. She was a lifelong member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. She worked as Deputy Registrar for Anderson County Health Department from 1942-49; Medical Secretary for United Mine Workers of America from 1948-75; Anderson County Budget Department from 1975 until she retired in 1985.
Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lillian Yerkes; husbands, James F. Cain, Roger Williams and Chalmer Duncan; and one grandson, Allen Cain.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff of Morning Pointe Assisted Living Center for their loving care in Charlotte's final days.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM Wednesday, May 30th, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will begin at 1 o'clock with Rev. Donald Swift officiating. Interment will be in Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton following the service. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
